Pilotta Appetizer

If you, like me, have a passion for cooking, I bet that you are always looking for tasty new recipes, to test your skills in the kitchen and to serve to your guests, during one of your dinners or one of your lunches, in order to amaze them with always new and delicious dishes.
Today, I present to you the Pilotta Appetizer.

Ingredients:

  • A clove of garlic
  • Raw ham cut into thin slices but thick enough to wrap in a roll
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Extravirgin olive oil

How to prepare it:

Rub a clove of garlic on the surface of an oval dish.
Then, spread the ham slices on top of the plate until you have used all the slices.
Without ever turning them, sprinkle them with ripe balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.
Leave everything to rest for over an hour.
Then wrap all the slices of ham together to form a single roll.
Taking care to keep it together, cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices and serve them on a serving plate.

Recommended pairing:

Personally, I recommend that you combine the Pilotta Appetizer with a Monteroma Brut organic sparkling wine or with a Emilian Lambrusco PGI Rosé- Fino a Sera.

That's all for today. I hope I have been an inspiration to you.

But before saying goodbye, I invite you to subscribe to my newsletter so as not to miss the next recipes.
